    Hey everyone,

I reinstalled my headlights (2015 Tacoma) after I received them back from having an HID retrofit and paint job done to them in the summer of 2015, so I have had them for about 6 months now. The company that I had sent them to was HIDprojectors (headlightupgrade.com) and I wanted to share my opinion of the overall result.

The reason I picked HIDprojectors is because they are very renowned in the Jeep industry for there 7" headlights, so I knew the construction of components had to be able to withstand off- road use. Customer service was on point; they answered all my questions and was willing to work with me on what ever paint scheme or Halo color combinations I wanted.

Overall I am very satisfied with result. The output at night is unbelievable as expected from HID's and the paint in the housing seems to be holding up from the heat from the bulbs. I had a trip from New York to Indiana at night, headlights on the entire time, and I had no issues.
If you want a retrofit done, I highly recommend this company.

I went with two amber halos to match my daytime running lights and 35W ballasts. My housing was painted black and the shroud was painted to match the body color of the truck.

The wiring was very straight forward. If you do get halos though, you have to decide how you want to wire them. I just keyed into my daytime running lights.

    Hope this helps!

Here is a shot from the cab. They were also $600. The price depends on what you want.

Nice looking lights. Do the halos "blink" with the turn signals wired like that?

I am not sure what projectors they are. Possibly made by Morimoto. Yes, the halos do "blink" with the turn signals. Initially they were flashing out of sync because the halos are LED and the turn signals are halogen. I changed the turn signals to LED and it fixed the issue.

If you don't mind me asking, how are your new lights holding up?
Also, was that 600.00 for new housings or did you get your stock lights converted?

Jack, the headlights are holding up great! No issues whatsoever. I sent in my own headlights.
