Hey everyone my name is Scott. I'm new to Tacomaworld and tacomas. I just bought a 2016 sr5 4x4. It's a beautiful truck and already seems to ride high with stock suspension, but I'd like a little more lift. I wanted to ask you experts if I'm going in the right direction here. I'm planning to do a 2.5 inch lift in front with Eibach adjustable struts set at 0 with OME 885s and a 2inch AAL in the rear. I'm running 265/70/17s.

Does this sound like a good plan? I'd like to be level but definitely don't want to be nose high. I'd rather have a small rake than be nose high. From what I measured, it looks like the front sits only about half an inch lower than the back. Is this the norm for 2016s? Also, will my suspension settle a little after I drive it a bit? Sorry for all of the questions. Just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing here. Thanks guys.

I ended up doing the same setup you described above. except my 5100s are set at .85. (second clip from bottom). 2" AAL from toytech. It came out good!13113176_1119892604722358_568447745_o.jpg

the front has since settled a tad bit since the pic was taken. so I'm about to throw some 1/4 spacers on top to take up some of the rake

Hey Brendan, thanks for the reply. Looks great man! That's what I want. So you used the OME 885s as well? If I can ask, why not just go bigger springs so you don't have to set your 5100s at .85 and preload the springs? I'm new to this and still learning so hope that's not a dumb question.

I thought that the 885s gave about 2.5 inch of lift with struts set at 0 and by my measurements, there is only about a half inch rake on the front. So I was gonna set at zero. How much do they settle and after how long?
