Hmmmmm @WJeeper brother has his graduation on the 28th and so the soonest we can be out would be around 4 i think. Whats every one else doing @alee891 are you fine with waiting tell then.

Lars, when are you getting into Denver?

 

I'm alright with leaving the 28th. 4:00pm seems a little late, would we just run Rimrocker through the night? I'm up for it, just not stoked on building camp at night.

 

I dont know about the others but i was not going to run to much of that trail that night.

 

We can drive to the trail head the evening of the 28th, camp that night, leave the morning of the 29th and start down Rimrocker.

Thoughts? (anyone)

That car is actually pretty bad ass... 375hp... crazy sleeper. and the tent is really for his GX470 he's modding up right now. His wife is too short to help him, so he set the tent up on his car to get all the adjustments done... then moved it to the GX. trying like hell to get him out to Moab

 

I arrive at the Hyatt on Mineral Ave. sometime Sunday Night (May 22. 2016) I check out Friday (May 27. 2016) intending to follow y'all down to Montrose Co. to kick off the trail that Saturday morning.

 

@Lars maybe we can all meet up like Thursday night for food and drinks. I'll be heading out Friday AM. (unfortunately not running the trail)

Nice! Tentative plan at the moment is to head out late Saturday afternoon and start the trail Sunday morning. I'm alright with leaving Friday or Saturday, depending on what works best for everyone.

I gotta see what kinda vacation is left after a vet visit. My dog needs two teeth extracted after getting scared la st week in her kennel and breaking out

 

Hopefully my gas cans arrive a day earlier than they're currently expected, or I won't have them for the trail. (I'll still bring 10 gallons of spare fuel, but...)

The worst mileage I've ever gotten in the truck was 13mpg, that was 4lo all day at the off road park aired down, so I "shouldn't" run into any problems on rimrocker, but the best laid plans rarely survive first contact with the enemy (Murphy in this case.)
