What I find odd is that I am also tracking down a popping/clunking feels like front but sometimes sounds like rear... What is even more odd is that all of us are running ICONs... I don't have the dual setup just extended travel 2.5 resis front and rear.. just replaced hubs, lower control arms, upper arms less than 1000miles ago... cant seem to find it... brakes are squeaky but not bad...

Have you eliminated axle wrap? T4Rs and Tacomas have always had the famous axle wrap thud/clunk about a second after you come to a complete stop.

Are you referring to the driveshaft clunk? Links can't get axle wrap, which is kind of the point of them.

Torque the LCA cam bolts. The shop that did my last 2 alignments failed to torque them to spec (around 100 ft lb) and I got that clunk when it would flex in and out of driveway. I've also read that it can be caused by loos transmission cross member bolts, or cab mounts on the frame.

This is a real old thread. I found out what it was a long time ago. Forgot this thread existed. It was one of the rear coils not seated. It was moving around. I found it as I swapped them. Kind of a big deal so it was good I was concerned. I didn't do all the work to this rig. I bought it built up so I think it is reasonable to worry about noises and such.

My tacoma wasn't stock and was silent. I did all the work on it.
Axle wrap doesn't exist in this vehicle.
    Me
It's not a complaint so much as a concern. I want to be sure I'm not going to break down 50 miles into a trail.

Mine ended up being in the rear but I thought it was up front. Weird shit happens.
