hey, i love the look of the oem roof rack as well, and i have been looking for a year on how to do it. recently someone from boliva said his access cab came with it. so i have been trying to get ahold of him, or the company that he said has them, but its in boliva and in a different language etc.. anyways did you ever start that project to make it fit onto your access cab?

I haven't done it yet, ive been meaning to but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I kind of put it off cause of the need to take off the headliner and drill holes in the roof. I suppose its time tho and I should get busy.

here is the writeup, this is about all the information there is on it: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-roof-rack-on-access-cab-writeup.153708/

this member has done it tho, you can pm him if you need help: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/calicos-2014-build-thread.333640/

@TruKnight is the connector the same to plug and play the 12+ door window master switch into pre-2012s?

I'd like to switch out my discolored window switch with the black versions...

    Thanks

no, its not the same. you need a new connector plug as well as removing and re-ordering the pin locations. I have had this sitting on the shelf because I cant get the pins out of the old plug to re-pin into the new one. it needs some special tool that I cant find.

    relevant thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...n-2005-2011-trucks.360738/page-2#post-9894314

it is possible, im just stuck on the pin removal. let me know if you figure that out.

barring that, you can just plastiderp your current switchplate black and call it a day.

Looks awesome, I just did my 2007
So the steering wheel, plug & play? The airbag will work in the unlikely event of an accident?
    That's my next install.
Also have a pioneer with steering wheels controls. Were you able to get all the buttons to function? image.jpgimage.jpg

grats! welcome to the 12-15 poser club. I see you went for the pro grill too. :D

yes, I did a writeup of it somewhere here if you read back through my build thread. careful not to pull hard on the steering column, ive read it can come completely out if the bolt holding it in breaks. im mechanically inept and even I managed to do it solo in about 2 hours.

don't know any reason why it wouldn't. if your system doesn't recognize it you'll get a red light on the dash.

I got the volume controls to work, and that's all I care about. the track selector buttons worked at first but stopped after a while, I think its an issue with the control interface box you have to wire up between the controls and the stereo. fixing the stereo and a/c controls was nightmarish and tedious tho.

Yeah I have the a/c controls, haven't taken that on yet, painted the plate on mine a gloss black that matched close to the stereo bezel to hold me over

I'm curious to why you changed the clock spring. It appears the part number are the same for 05-15 W/ audio controls
