    I had to swap out my intake tube cause it was bad cracked well the one I picked up at the junkyard has a bigger hole up next to the tb I need someone to help with a part number or lead me in the right direction somehow. Thanks in advance..

    If your truck is a '99 with six cylinder, the name/part number should be "Hose, Air Intake 17881-62130". Those are common cracks. I believe they occur because the rubberlike material gets increasingly brittle as it ages; the engine does torque slightly under the hood and the air intake hose needs to flex slightly. When they get old and split it is invariably at the same accordion location. I've had to replace one before after all the DIY repairs I could dream up, none of which held. I decided a new Toyota part was money well spent so I didn't have to revisit it again.

    I appreciate it. I have no idea what intake tube I bought but it's definitely not going to work. Oh well I tried. I guess I'll bite the bullet an buy a new Toyota one.
