    I had some black sand pearl basecoat left over from when I color matched the bull bar on my 09. Primed, colored, and cleared just the bezel and it made a huge difference.

    I reworked this a little bit. First round the outer trim yellowed when I cleared it, that was driving me nuts and the emblem was white.....just looked tacky in my personal opinion. The main part is U Pol Raptor liner. I did the grill and fender flares on my 03 with this stuff about 4 years ago and it still looks great, zero chips. Just sanded the crap out of it and hit it with some adhesion promoter prior to spraying.

    If I didn't buy the BAMF grill for 400 I would consider this one, but dont like the Toyota emblem. Wish Toyota was spelled out.

    I currently have the chrome Sport grill and I agree with you that it's too much chrome for my taste. I prefer black trims on my trucks so I am leaning towards the Custome black grill with the large "TOYOTA" spelled across it, I just hope it's not too plasticy or cheap-feeling... Would be awesome to find one in a flat finish metal. I'm also not a huge fan of the little round Toyota emblem that they use now days, I prefer the all caps "TOYOTA" emblem - I guess it just reminds me of the older pickups that I love so much.
