Hey guys I have a 2016 tacoma double cab short bed trd offroad 4x4.

Just curious what intake guys are running? I'm not a fan of k&n.

Engine is stock but once I get the intake, I'll swap out the stock muffler to a Flowmaster 40 series.

    Thanks in advance

You already have a Cold Air Intake on the truck from the Factory. So by adding an aftermarket one all you will be adding is noise. No power gains, No MPG gains. And teaming it up with an aftermarket exhaust will just give you more noise as well. So skip the CAI. and just add a Cat Back system for a little growl.

A cat-back gives you extra noise %100 of the time. (I put on a Magnaflow after removed it after 3 days.) Idle and cruising were %30 louder than stock, and under throttle it was obnoxious. This coming from someone who has installed many Magnaflows and cat/back/header systems on vehicles for 33 years. Conversely, a CAI is only loud when you stomp on the throttle.

URD is supposedly releasing one in July. Keeping my eyes on this one.

OEM because the aftermarket intakes do nothing more than make noise and I like the quiet ride.
