Yeah J is probably within a month of walking on his own! He's crawling like a mofo, walks along just about everything (Like the 'in a pool' reference) and just this morning I let him hold on to just one of my fingers with one of his hands and walked him around our kitchen island. Its great to see the smiles on their faces when they accomplish something. So far we've got him to walk from Mom to Dad, about 4-5 steps, but he quits after 2-3 tries usually.

And yeah, I've tried the plunger thing, it works if the boogey is like right at the front, but nothing deep. The wife uses the one that she has to suck on, I'm reminded of this and refuse to use it

Also, thanks.. she's quite a doll. Especially last night when mama gave her a mohawk with my comb..

 

100s of dollar in toys and the wife pulls the bowls out to make a salad and he's in love. Also notice the empty wipes box in the back, that was better than sliced bread for about a month.

Isabella's favorite toy for about a month was a plastic strawberry basket.

 

It's funny when we bring random shit out and he'll be playing with the $50 100 noises and sounds maker...and then we bring out...A SPATULA, and suddenly FUCK THIS SHIT GIMME THE SPATULA NOW.

 

She likes a specific spoon..

Or any drawer full of anything.

 

Yeah, I'm in the middle of adding handles to all of our kitchen drawers and cupboards just so we can put locks on them now.

We specifically emptied one out for him on the island and filled it with all of our plastic stuff...now he wants nothing to do with it and wants to find out how many times he can drop the glass cooking stuff before it breaks. So far 1 and it hasn't broken...so I have to either stand next to him all the time, or be a ninja when he's wandering around and opens the wrong door

 

Not to sound too cliche, but it goes by pretty quick. This one has been seen driving my truck (off-pavement) a couple of times recently...
She always preferred this to her stroller and practiced walking by pushing it around the house. A lot.

 

I'm kinda bummed that as an adult I don't have any of that carefree innocence or simple entertainment.

I hope she's less jaded than I am when she's my age. Trying to raise her a lot differently than I was raised.

 

I do, it's when I'm airborne or going way to fast to be safe.

 

I'm about that fast life, which is why I keep buying the small motors...
