I live in Missouri. I notice that just driving around in clear open space, XM drops out momentarily and then comes back. This happen to anyone else? Not sure if its just a lousy receiver or poor antenna or a defective head unit.

Gotta be shitty satellite reception. I lose reception in the same exact spot to and from work every day.

I say its a combo of all those things... Sat radio hates trees... the antenna needs to be better and the head unit is not all that special.

Anyone know of any amplifier or an add on to boost the signal of the antenna? I too get terrible XM radio reception every day on my way to work. However, I do live in WA and there are a ton of trees here so....

I'm having the same experience driving to work in Everett. The FM stations jumping in and out of HD drives me nuts too. I'll have to try refreshing to see if XM improves.
