Hey all!just in the middle of doing a clutch job on my 03 taco,I have the flywheel at the shop and lathed down, when I picked it up the guys tell me that they recommend I use a 20 thou shim behind the flywheel to bring it back out as that is how much they removed from the surface.would my slave not depress farther due to this gap and compensate for the missing 20 thou?just a thought,I'd like some experienced insight before I start putting it all back together.I am a diesel mechanic and and have never dealt with shims thus far, being the reason I am asking!thanks!
