    Dang. I searched for towing before creating this and didn't find a dedicated towing forum. Maybe I didn't find it because I'm using my phone?? Thanks for the link!

    I towed my 22 ft sea hunt triton ~5000lbs 800 miles round trip to the keys with my 2011 Tacoma sr5 with towing package. Towed it like a boss. But the gas mileage sucked 9.5-11 mpg

    That is not too bad considering you are effectively doubling your weight with that trailer. Makes sense that MPG would be halved.
