I noticed on my 2016 Access cab that the seats have zippers on the back. When I follow the zipper I find a zipper pull deep in the seat. I didn't explore much further, but I was wondering if these could be removed and machine washed?

Wife in passenger seat, not driver seat :)
Aftermarket leather seat covers... Are we talking the Katzkin? Or is there an OEM offered part # for front driver and passenger seats? I wouldn't mind something a guaranteed fit but currently looking at the katzkin covers

Has anyone removed the OEM seat covers yet and washed them?

They are not made to be washed. That's how they are designed to put on. They are held on with hog rings. Some newer vehicles use velcro, or a clip. Toyota usually uses hog rings, since I haven't done any work on the seats in a new Tacoma I'm not 100% sure however. But either way it's not something that's quick to take off and throw in your washing machine.

Man my passenger seat smells like I picked up a homeless guy for a 5000 mile road trip and I don't want to just cover it up with febreeze.
