    Fellas,

How's it going. New to the forum site. A lot of good info on here. Anyway I need you all's expert advice.

Found a Tacoma at a local Toyota dealership. It's a 2012 dbl cab TRD off road. It's had one owner and a clean carfax with 40,194 miles on it. List price is $27,995. Want to see if you guys think it's a solid price!

What do you fellers think ??? Thanks in advance..

Take it to a reputable mechanic you know and pay him or her the 100.00 for the hour or so to check it out. Carfax means squat if information wasn't sent to them or repairs were done out of pocket. It looks nice, but really have it checked out. I would rather spend the 100.00 up front, then later be fucked on something. Good Luck

Cool yeah I'll do that. What if it's a certified preowned Toyota. Don't they do the inspection in the shop and give you an extended warranty if it passes?

No idea on that but I wouldn't trust Toyota with it alone. Take it to someone else as well

In my opinion, I wouldn't bother with the whole mechanic deal with only 41k on it. Toyota certified pre-owned inspection will catch anything major...and plus you'll be warrantied. That's just my opinion.

For price, I'd say it's slightly better than average. Not by a whole lot, but you're definitely not getting ripped off here.
