ICON front/Fox rear?

    After reading that article however, the factory resis seem to be built a bit better and a lot stronger, at almost twice the price at $500 pair. Hmmm...has me thinking I just need to save more $$$ lol

    Must be more expensive for the first gens...the 2.0 factory resis are like $250/260 each. So I guess with 20% that would be like $400. Not bad. I think I'll probably go that route. Again thanks for the help guys.

    I'm also trying to clear 35x12.5s...since I have 529 gears it only makes sense, these 33s just don't cut it RPM/speed wise. Think I'll have any big issues?

    Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    If it's independent suspension longer shocks will hardly help. The issue with the independent suspension on the Tacoma is at stock length you only have so much travel (8-9"?) The weakness in the geometry is length and position of the lower arms.

    Drop bracket (gag) or longer arms (long travel) over come that.

    And I was told I didn't need the diff drop and brake line things with the ICON setup

    I have the rancho adjustable coil overs now up front, not sure what set to or what lift they are but I barely clear 33x12.5s, rub at full turn on my steel bumper...partially bumpers fault, bad enginnering...

    to fit 35s up front your gona need to tub it and cut fenders.

    put truck up on jackstands, remove shock, jack the suspension with wheel on up to the bump stop and start cutting till it clears.

    Whatever it takes, I have to clear 35s...I'm not regearing just for 33s..if I have to cut a little fender and beat a little firewall so be it haha. This is no show truck so F it!

    its more than just a "little" unfortunately. Cant just beat in you have to cut out a section and reweld the opening.
