Help needed, where does this connector go?

    Just found out this connector was hanging lonely out there. Did not see anything obvious. Truck drives and shifts and feels normal. So, where does it should plug into? Thanks in advance.

    oh, it is on the passenger side, above the ac compressor, behind the power steering pump.

    it plugs into the high pressure line (one with the banjo bolt) for the power steering right next to your hand. it is what idles up the engine when steering while at idle

    No, I think that is for the A/C .
    I have no electrical going to my power steering, at the pump, just the 2 vacuum lines, and one of those goes to a vsv , which I believe is to raise the idle up under a load.

    I forgot about the older trucks having vacuum lines there. my bad. but here's a picture to hopefully help ya out. black is the p/s connector and the grey is the ac.

    Thanks everybody, problem solved, really appreciated.
    I feel like a complete idiot now.
    The connector must be forgotten when I did the timing belt/ water pump job last month...

    ah we all make mistakes. when I did my valve covers I forgot the ground on the intake... needless to say I was stumped when it refused to run.. glad to have been any help
