I'm sure someone will, allowing idiots everywhere to run around with thier fog lights on all the time. You ever wonder why they are called FOG LIGHTS. If you use them off road no problem, but fog lights always on on the street is stupid.

Prob the same idots who think DRLs are a good idea!?

I drive a manual, I choose my gears. I drive a truck, I wish I could choose my lights!?

OP check out the 2nd gen forums, maybe the steps are similar enough.

I want to use them in conjunction with high beams, you would think that with high beams on you would want as much light as possible!

    LS1 swap with nitros.
That's our government at work looking out for us. No high beams and fog lights.

There is an outdated DOT law that stated no more than 4 forward facing lights shall be on at a time. Most manufacturers leave the low beams and cut the fogs when the high beam is activated.

I can see it from that perspective, but your eyes will focus on the foreground and not in the distance where you should be looking. It would be counterproductive.

With that said, my last Tacoma I had the fogs wired to be on with the ignition as a DRL and it worked great with our Morimoto LED fogs.

Care to elaborate on why it's so stupid and/or why you're so mad?
