Hey, for you guys that run this aal how much lift did it give you? I know it says 1.5 inches but I have seen people saying that they got 2.25 inches of lift from it. Also please post your truck configuration. I have a dcsb. Thanks

    1.5 without overload.

2 with overload (you're adding the actual thickness of the overload leaf).

On a stock truck with no additional weight, like sliders, camper shell, toolbox, etc.

I left the overload in and it gave me about the 2 to 2.25 on my DCLB 4X4

I have the Headstrong 3 AAL. It gave me about a little over 2" with the overload in.

Okay, if I leave the overload in will it make the ride worse?

    Marginally stiffer.

If you take it out you'll have a softer ride but also decrease load carrying by something like 30%.

    Neither is the Icon.

They're all made by the same company. So far as I know, they're all back ordered.

How's the ride with the overload?? That's a good looking truck! My scs ray10's are arriving on friday, but I don't have a lift ordered yet, and I want to run 33's.
I just spoke to Marie at headstrong and she said that they were substituting the headstrong aal for the icon currently

3 inches in the front and yes the rear is just a little higher than the front. 265/75/16 didn't want the trimming hassles ans such

keep the overload in. I have the wheelers 3 leaf w/o overload and it sags with any substantial weight in the bed

Ok, thanks. I'm gonna get a shell in the next couple month's plus I want 2 inches for 255/80/17's and so my truck will sit level.

Any vibes from the lift? Did any of you check pinion angle and use shims?

    Thanks

I have an ICON progressive AAL with a TRD Pro suspension. I left out the helper because I didn't want too much rake or stiff a ride. The truck has about 1" of rake but looks level. I pull a horse trailer and it carries all the loads that I have put in it without any problem. I left the stock shims out when I installed the AAL.
