I bought some smoked headlights last month from eBay for my 2008 Tacoma sport. It's been a friggin month and the driver side already has water buildup in them ! Good thing I can still return them. I don't really feel like paying 700 bucks for originals. Anyone know of good reliable smoked headlights and where I can buy them ? Any help is appreciated . Thanks guys

$700 for what? OEM don't cost that much.

I would just get the OEM tinted. That's normally how smoked headlights are done.

You may also be able to use silicone to seal the current ones you bought.

Thanks ! Yeah, its 400 for both for the 2008 headlights... Best price i've found yet. Hate to spend 400 bucks for headlights but after wasting time and money on the cheapos I might just buy these

Anyone know why there are three different OEM part numbers for 2008 TRD Sport headlights ?

The smoked headlights that I'm returning said that the replacement part numbers were:81150-04173, 8115004173, 81110-04173, 8111004173.

I called the guy at bochttoyotasouth.com and he said the part numbers for sport headlights were : 81110-04210, 81150-04210.

Then, I went online and typed the VIN number and searched headlights through that and the part number that it gave me was :
    • Manufacturer:Toyota
    • Part Number:81170-04173
    • Part:HEADLAMP HOUSING, LEFT
    • Part Notes:2005-11, W/SMOKED HEADLAMP
Anyone know why there are 3 different part numbers for these headlights and which part number is the correct one for my 2008 TRD Sport ?
