I made a thing for switches because the thing I wanted didn't exist.

Link is fixed. I forgot to make it publicly viewable so the link was working just fine for me, but I was the only person it was working for though, so long as I was logged in anyway.

Just a quick heads up. I got a PM today about switches sticking in the two switch plate. In this instance the tolerances were a bit too tight, of the 4 different switches I tried on the two switch plate I had one switch that was kind of sticky. The user said that a little bit of sanding on the sides of the plate opened it up and it worked fine after. There's about 50 of these plates out in the wild at this point (not sure the breakdown between 2 and 3 switch plates though) and this is the first time anyone has contacted me about switch fitment issues so I'm guessing it's not a widespread problem for people. Anyway, if it proves to be a reoccurring issue I'll see about reworking the model. Otherwise, I think erring on the side of tighter tolerances and leaving it as-is is probably the better move on my part. All that said, if you also run into compatibility or tolerance issues I'd like to know, even if it's just some light sanding to fix and you already got the job done, or whatever.

    Thanks again everybody.

Those are Mictuning switches I believe. 21x39mm? They do fit well. The only thing that sets them apart is the back light is a little brighter than the rest of the switches, other than that, they look, feel, and work just like
    stock.

How did you guys wire up all three switches? Did you jumper them all then tap into the vehicle constant power for the top side of the switch and do the same for the lower side of the switch? Thanks

For those who have a switch named 'compressor', what does it do? and what is it for? Really curious? Are you carrying a built in aftermarket compressor in your truck fixed someplace inside to inflate your tires or something? That can't be true.

    Exactly.

Underhood compressor. I air down when I leave pavement.

How does this work? Are you able to air down and pump air into your wheels by press of a button? I am confused. The only truck I've known that is capable of doing that is the TerraMax unmanned autonomous truck from Oshkosh. Here is a video of it doing that
    I have so many questions.
    1. Or do you have to let the air out manually, and have some pipe wired up to the compressor that allows you to connect that pipe to each wheel to fill up?
    2. If it is automatic via button, is it a two way switch?
    3. Doesn't the truck have a TPMS something? Does this work along with that, or do you have to disable that feature?
    4. How did you wire all this up? Is there a picture thread?

Thanks, and sorry for so many questions. It's just amazing to me that some of you did this.

You're overthinking it. I air down with one of these:

Takes less than 30 seconds per tire to get down to 17-19 psi. When I air up I use a hose and chuck from the compressor. Takes about 8 minutes to air up all 4.

My compressor is being installed next week. I plan on putting an ARB dual air comp in the same location as forty2. I'll post pictures of that and my winch install when it's complete.

Yes, that's what it's for. Guys that are serious about off-roading will deflate their tires while on the trails for better traction. Compressor let's them pump them back up afterwards. Can also be useful when fixing tires out in the field and other obvious uses.
