The batteries in the sensors are only good for 10 years at best. I'm guessing your 9 years is the reason.

Is the light on solid or flashing when you first turn on your truck. If it's solid, then you have a low tire. Probably the spare since you said you didn't check that. Most people don't. If it's flashing then eventually goes to solid, you have a bad sensor, wore out sensor, low battery in the sensor, or broken sensor. All of which will mean the sensor needs replaced. Hope this helps.

Not worth it in my opinio . If you are successful at getting to the battery, your need to seal the sensor back up. Just easier to bite the bullet and get it replaced.

No. The TPMS modules are a sealed unit. Sucks on the design ... planned obsolescence.

Just replace the whole sensor in all tires. Most tire stores have sensors and can install and program them. Your '07 may in fact have a sensor in the spare. I can't recall when Toyota stopped putting them in the spare.

Can you wait until you need tires? It will save money because the tires will already be removed from rims.

I agree with those guys. Theye shouldn't charge extra to install. I known I don't. They will just need to be programmed. I think they for rid of the spare sensor in 2010 or 11? I don't know. Toyota was goofy like that. It's a good and safe concept. But it's a lot of headaches for our customers.
