Hi, my name is Melissa. I drive a 2008 Tacoma .King cab TDR. Silver, I've had it about 2 yrs now. My instrument panel lights went out, about two months ago,I researched and found I could fix it myself. A wonderful discovery for a 54 year old woman. Today I came here looking for how to replace the gear shift bulb. That page was blank however. So I just went by common sense, remove whats in the way..easy peasy (amazingly). The socket was right there under the shift panel. Turned it, out it came. Bulb replaced! Yes, I am proud. So many things don't work as easy as they should...So I thought I might fill in the blank page under 'replace gear shift bulb' in the tutorials heading.. when I get the time. Right now I gotta go place everything back after a thorough cleaning. Oh, one important thing is turn engine, headlights on before putting everything back. Just to be sure it works...Happy do it yourself-ing everyone! feeling accomplished, Majkjems:thumbsup:
