    I have a 2001 Pre-runner, 4door, V6, automatic 2WD. I ordered a 3" lift but am wondering about wheels and tires!

    Option one: 16x8, 4.5 BS, 0+ offset.

    Option two: 16x8, 4 BS, -12 Offset

I like option one better but I want to run 285/75 on them. Would it clear frame, UCA, etc. and only require plastic trimming? Or would they hit the frame when turning and stuff? If so, I'll go with rim two. Thanks!

With our trucks, running 285/75/16 you will need at least 4" of backspacing to clear the uca. You will still rub the pinch weld as well with up travel of the suspension. Easy fix though with a 3 Pound sledge:D

Pinch weld refers to the frame? What if I ran 275/70 on the 16x8 4" BS 0+ offset? Would that clear everything?

Is there such thing as 275/75/16? If so would that clear?

Sorry I only have experience with running 265/75 and 285/75. The pinch weld is on the back of the wheel well behind the tire by the mud flap. Do a quick search of "pinch weld mod "and you will see what I'm talking about. Easy fix.

Thought this was an emergency. Was just another wheel/tire thread where the info they need would have been easily found by searching.
