Great Build! What's the highest lift you can get with your current set up?

I have about 2" of adjustment in the front based on the info provided in the King Shocks owners manual (5 threads = 1 inch of lift). That would put it at about 4 1/4" of lift with the extended travel Kings in the front. I wouldn't suggest it though. Ride would be super stiff and all the droop travel would be taken up in exchange for preload. The rear is only lifted by the leaf pack. There is no adjustment. I got 1 3/4" of lift in the rear with that this set up.

That's on the Coxey Canyon Trail between Apple Valley and Big Bear. I don't remember exactly where on the trail that was, but next time I drive that way, I'll make note of the coordinates and let you know. There were some people climbing there. Looked like a cool spot to do it.

Thanks. Decided to build a Rubicon Unlimited instead. It's a better starting point for what I want to do (straight axle build)

I love the truck. Seriously. That said, I'm $50k into it and still need bumpers, sliders, skids, winch, lockers, bed cap, racks, lights, etc. I'd be $65k into it easy before I was done. Then I'd consider SAS which is another large sum of cash. As much as I'd like to have a $70k Tacoma build, I'd rather not pay that much. There are some awesome Rubicon Unlimited builds for sale in the $40k range. I'd rather spend that and be "done". My Tacoma is not sold yet. I have a buyer who sounds committed to purchase on May 18, but if he backs out, I'll consider keeping it. I really do enjoy it.
