Have you actually tested that? That's great if so, I have the same shell, but I am guessing if you pull down hard enough on the tailgate the shell window/door wouldn't hold it in place.

In direct sunlight, it's a dead on match. If it's in the shade, it looks like it's 2 shades too dark. I'll have to get a picture in low light and post so you can see the difference. I'm thinking of using some plastidip and mask off a line from behind the cab down along the bed on the cap to just break it up. I can't believe LEER can't exactly match a paint code on new vehicles. They have all sorts of disclaimers in their owners manual about the paint not matching exactly. Wish the dealer would have said something to that effect before I bought it. My old 2005 Dakota had a color match ARE on it and it was dead on. Go figure.

I grabbed a quick pic. Maybe you can see the difference in the shade. The difference in color from the truck to the topper around the LEER logo on the side is what I'm talking about. It drives me nuts in the morning in low light conditions. It looks like an auto body shop had some kid mix the paint and he was colorblind. If the sun shines on it, it's perfect. UGH. Wow, I can definitely see the difference. I'm sure 99% of folks would never notice, but when you do you can't unnoticed it. Bummer. Thanks for posting. Making me rethink leer.

Just got a Snugtop Rebel installed today. Took some coaxing to get everything lined up just right, but I like it.

Yes! Looks awesome! I ordered my Leer 180 almost 6 weeks ago and they said 6-8 week delivery. I'm getting pretty anxious! :boom:

Same, to each his own and if you like it thats what counts but color matched looks sharper to me.

I'm actually thinking of going with a softopper now it seems more practical because i haul my dirtbike too. But the big curve ball is, i'm thinking of going with the tan. Not sure how that will turn out, but i know it will be different and make my truck stand out...

Something to consider, from what I've read the softopper is no where near as weather proof as a hard shell.

Can someone post a photo of their A.R.E Z Series, Leer 100XQ, and LEER 10XR with the rear door open? I want to see how high each door opens.

    Thank you!

Would you mind posting a pic with the rear window up? I want to see how high it opens for clearance, thank you!

Finally got my Leer XQ today, pretty happy with the color match. I got the Thule racks, the removable slider window, and the remote lock to go with my fob. Had the installer hook the lock up to the passenger side lock so it wouldn't activate every single time I opened the driver side door. Also had him hook the light up direct to the hot wire so the aux or running light don't have to be on for it to work.

I'll update if I manage to hookup my led kit from Mattgecko...

Your truck looks great! Can you give me a quick run down of your mods? Looks like lift, wheels, tires, tint, plastidip? - What life did you use?

    Thanks!

I just ordered one of these too, not the tall version. How is the paint match with the quicksand? I'm a little worried.
