I am selling a V-series ARE truck cap that will fit Toyota Tacoma '05--'15 with an access (extended) cab. I bought less than a month ago from a dealership. The truck cap came off a '07 Toyota Tacoma access cab and is 4 years old.

According to ARE, this cap should fit a standard cab because the length is for a 6-ft bed but it does not because of slight difference in cab shapes. Thus, this cap is designed for an access cab on second generation Tacoma trucks made in years from 2005 to 2015. The color is vintage red pearl.

The cap has a carpeted headliner, sliding side windows with screens that lock in place and a sliding cab-side window. The back window opens up, is self-supporting and has a single lock. All windows are tinted. It also has a third brake light and accessories for hooking that up. All clamps are in good shape and easy to install on your track system.

I also purchased a new bulb seal required for installation and will throw that in with the purchase, along with all hardware needed to install. The truck cap is in excellent shape.

For reference, a brand new truck cap would cost you over $1400 plus installation; asking price is $800 cash and local sales within a 3-4 hour driving distance only. I am located in Knoxville/Oak Ridge, TN (37830) area.

Wish this would fit a double cab. I would be all over it! Should go quick, good price!

 

Just a follow-up to say that I am willing to drive up to a reasonable distance to deliver this truck cap. I am located near Knoxville, TN and will be working out of Asheville, NC in the near future.

Does this fit a Double Cab, short bed? From the description it sounds as though it would only fit an access cab.

 

Sorry for the delay in response, I didn't get an email about the post. The truck cap is for a 6'5" bed so it fits access cab only. It will fit a standard cab but will need some tweaking to make sure the cap doesn't rub against the cab due to a slight difference in curvature between the standard and access cabs.

 

FYI, It will also fit a double cab LONG bed.
