    Can't say on the first gen but it changes the shift points on the 3rd gen.

    The Bed is stock...ish
    No extra power, changes transmission shift points to keep the engine in its power band longer.

    With my truck and the hilly terrain I drive on the highway I actually get better fuel mileage in ECT Power mode than Normal mode.
    I believe it is because the truck would upshift at too low of an rpm in Normal mode and then it was constantly hunting gears with changes in terrain.
    It's not a huge difference but I just keep mine in Power mode all the time.
