I have a 1996 standard bed 2 wd is a 2001 standard bed 2wd bed the same? Instead of patching the one I have I just want to replace it.

I believe the only beds that wont work are the shorter dbl cab ones.

All the first gen long beds are the same. Shorter beds came on double cabs.

Only difference would be if it has flares or not. The 01-04 flares will have holes in the fenders, the earlier do not.
