In January, I was having problems with clunky shifting, reluctant acceleration and, finally, the check engine light came on, on my '04 (187k). I replaced the TPS and all the problems went away.

A couple of days ago (192k), I noticed that I'm having the same reluctant acceleration problem.

What would cause two TP sensors to have issues, within five months and 5000 miles? Are there other ideas for what could be causing the problem?

    Hey Micheal,
Do you have a CEL? If so....what?
In January, did you replace anything else?

Thanks for the reply. No CEL, at this point. I didn't replace anything other than oil and filters, since the TPS work.

It maybe time to do a tune up. Plugs, plug wires, air filter, fuel filter. I see that you have a supercharger. Plugs are definitely in order.
