Wow, That has to be the most missing we've heard so far. Surely, you have to notice a big difference now?

DSCN0360.jpg So, the reason I have the 16 is coz my 15 got T-boned. Shoulder got messed up too. But... did my first pull up in 8 months yesterday so to celebrate and motivate I put the tools back where they belong, nicely repainted and obviously unscratched but... if I keep seeing them I know it will not be long before I get back where I belong, in other peoples bad days, scratching tools :) Love this forum, your mods motivate my mods! Cannot wait to get the grill changed!

How long did it take them to check it? I just had mine in to check the ATF level and also the U-bolts for correct torque .. they had it in there for only 45-minutes and said "everything is good" .. i am a bit skeptical they checked it

It's been noticeably smoother, especially when climbing hills on the highway or just coming up to speed in general. I guess the way it was before wasn't alarming to me because I am a first time truck owner and figured its performance was just a "truck" thing.

I had them keep it over night (and they gave me a loaner with no hassle). If they check the fluid while the truck is "hot" it won't read correctly.

There is no way they properly checked the tranz fluid by toyota's way of checking it is BS that they checked it. Most of us here either had to wait half a day or leave it over night.

It should take two hours approximately, they need to tranny to come completely backed cold, before they start the test from when you drove it there

Had my truck in yesterday for the 5K at Chantilly Toyota and asked them to check the tranny fluid, U bolt torque and to ensure that the U bolts were greased. They said they checked my fluid and it was fine. I look under my truck today and noticed that the check bolt was never touched. I marked it with the tamper proof torque prior to my check up. Gonna call and have a talk with the service manager tomorrow.

Keep us updated, I'm curious how he/she responds to that. What is that you marked it with? Obviously something that won't melt under the heat.

    Me in the driver seat.
Built a raised flower bed and had to get dirt. 1800 lbs of it to be exact. Had a friend who has a Pro 4X come with me to split the weight. The taco handled the weight like a boss. Notice the sag in that Frontiers pants? image.jpg

Yeah, my '12 Taco was rear ended a lot like that and both rear frame rails bent down under the center of the bed and the right rail was pushed forward as far as it could go. Insurance totalled it out.

A few things I have done in the last week or so:
    - Lund 5" Oval Nerf Bars
    - TriFecta Tonneau Cover
    - Matte Black Tailgate letters (@rrentrop)

Next - Blackout the Tacoma emblems.
New tires. (KO2's or Terra Grappler G2's 265/70/17)
Front leveling kit (still have no idea what I want do do for that, or what is best)
    Blackout the front grill.
Door sill and Dash vinyl. (@rrentrop)

I have the same Lund nerf bars and love them .. i remember first opening the box and thinking "those look too wide" but they look perfect on my truck and were very easy to install using the existing holes
