I'm just about to order some 5100's/OME 883 for my 4x4 DCLB hoping to get around an 1 to 1.5" lift in the front only.

I've read a lot of people on here talking about needle bearing trouble and needing the ECGS bushing. My truck will never see any offroad duty, i'm only considering a lift for the look. I'm a little worried about these bearing issues and starting to doubt if it's worth it...

Does everyone with a lifted truck get this bearing issue? Is it dependent on how high you lift or is it simply a "luck of the draw" thing?

honestly I'll be putting that in my shopping and install list when it's time. you just won't know if you're going to get it or not. so why take the chance?
