You guys have DCLB TRD offroad in America??

we don't have that in Canada.

How come is that?

 

In the sub-2016 models there were no double cab long bed offroads. I don't think anyone is certain why that is, but speculation would have it that a double cab long bed might as well be a fucking cruise ship on small trails?

Or weight.

Also: bad geometry for break over angle.

 

Not sure why, but you guys have a DCLB Limited and the U.S. doesn't

 

We get things the USA doesn't, they get things we don't. It's sad or whatever.

Yeah I wanted a dcsb offroad in Canada but never been offered apparently

 

TRD Off-Road is only offered on Access Cabs in Canada.
TRD Sport is only offered on Double Cabs in Canada.
DCSB is only offered with manual transmissions in Canada.
DCLB is only offered with automatic transmissions in Canada.

That's kind of the deal on the Tacoma in Canada. We also got the X-Runner for a few more years than the continental USA (Hawaii got it longer than anywhere I believe). We get the TRD-OR AC 6MT as well, which the USA doesn't get.

That's the exact configuration I wanted too.

 

I know for a fact that Canada gets the DCLB Off Road in 2017 with sales going around September to October. Thats why I'm waiting and not getting the DCLB 2016 Sport.

Canada SR5 also gets 400w plug, while we only have it in trd models.
