I'm thinking this could actually work, as painful as it would be to actually get the wires into there. I don't see a downside to this... any opinions?
Honestly I can't think of a better place to put a speaker amp if I'm using all of the rear storage space for subs.

Can you keep these tiny amps dry? You really wanna run all those wires in & out the door (signal, power, ground, turn-on, speaker)? Will they fit (the wires through the doors and the amps in the doors)? How will you adjust the gains? Would closing the door be good for it? etc.

I ran new speaker wires through the door jambs. It is a bitch. You definitely do not want to try running amp wiring through there.

I would think the biggest issue here would be keeping them dry.

I would advise against it. Not only will it have a much higher chance of corrosion, but the shock of opening/closing the door would take its toll on the amp. Stick it under or behind the seat. KeepItSimpleStupid

Bad idea. Under the seat is best + there's an AC vent to cool the amp.
I just did mine a few weeks back. Lots of room and easy to adjust.
Aside the b*itch of running all the wires, no adjustment access, gonna get wet and amps generate HEAT.

i barely found space for the component 2"x2" crossover in the doors. Good luck getting an amp in there.
