Went crazy with the credit card yesterday...

Tundra brakes, Wheeler's SS lines, cool TRD stickers for the calipers, 102" CB whip antenna, antenna tie-down. I should have some nice boxes waiting for me when I get home from Arkansas!

I wish the price tag wasn't where it is on those boxes! But, I have to get brakes done before my camping trip coming up. I decided to upgrade to Tundra since I needed new brakes anyway

As long as they aren't triple stacked you should be good.

I've never looked since they are on the inside. If they're too tall, I'll just have them redo it with different size weights or something

Have a lot of things going on right now in preparation for the Arkansas trip in a few days. Basically, I got home from school on Friday night and starting working on the truck Saturday morning. I replaced the front brakes with Tundra calipers, rotors, ceramic pads, as well as Wheeler's SS lines. I replaced the rear drums thinking that one was warped. I'm still getting the terrible vibrations when braking, so none of those things fixed the problem. I leave for the trip on Wednesday, so after accepting the fact that I don't have time to guess what the problem is, I took the truck to the shop today. Hopefully I will hear from them tomorrow. I still have to get all my camping gear together and extend my rear diff breather and check all the fluids. I also installed my softtopper which I LOVE. Removing the hard shell let my rear end rise up 3/4" on both sides. It seems to ride better without it too. Lastly, I installed a 102" whip for the CB and got a tie-down for it. I think it goes along well with the softtopper. SWR is 1.3 all the way across the band. Here's some pics from the past two days. Oh, and the plane is in for annual inspection so I snagged this pic of our Cardinal parked next to my friend's Piper Arrow that is being worked on as well. And yes, those are snapchat photos of the softtopper.

I don't think my leaf springs were very happy with the load of stuff I brought back home from my dorm, which I am so glad to be out of.

Also went out and moved around my carrier bearing. Mine only moves around a little bit.

I know I know. Rear suspension will have to happen soon. Probably going to just be an AAL as a band-aid though. I am going to need new tires within a year or two. Can't get tires and suspension at the same time. Money is of short supply. Imagine driving 5 hours like that! Needless to say, it did not ride very well.

Fine. If it were me then, I'd go suspension. NEW LEAF PACK! :smack: Save yourself the hassle and just get something that will last for the years to come. It's like fix a broken leg with band-aid. It just doesn't work. Either look at the All Pro Leafs or OME Dakars or Deavers. All around the same $350 -$400 area and will last a life time.

I can't spend $400 AND buy tires though... That's a lot for college me. My mom wants to sell the truck too. I tell her no way. I'd ride a bicycle everywhere before I'd sell this truck.
