It is the female plug on your wench and the cable for the remote. They can look it up for you, they did for me. I think it cost less then $20 for both

How do you like the quality on that Trail Gear rear bumper?

I've been looking at the 2nd gen version since I prefer the look of the tube bumpers to the plate for the rear end. The fact that it's half the price of every other bumper out there has me a little hesitant (worried that its cheap rather than just inexpensive) along with the fact that I can't find any online reviews or anyone that's ever bought one and haven't been able to see one first hand.

I felt the same way until I ordered there sliders, when I received the sliders and seen the quality I decided I would try the bumper. This bumper is great, it is very strong and well built. If you want a good tube bumper this one is a good one. Also if you need sliders there sliders are great too and they have free shipping if you get them here.

Found these for $5 at a yard sale!
Look new on the inside, a little sanding and paint and they will be nice cans.

Got them finished, turned out good, total invested $30.00, not bad for 2 cans.

More information on this? Do you have links to the parts? Also, do you have to go into the solenoid to wire this?

I don't have a link to the parts, I got them from 4Wheel Parts, they looked them up and ordered them for me, I believe both parts were less than $20.00. I did not have to go into the solenoid to wire this. You will need the female plug that the remote cable plugs into on the wench control box and the remote cable, both parts are pictured below.
Disconnect your power to the winch first thing. Then I plugged the remote cable into the winch and ran the other end of the cable into the truck cab. I drilled a hole the size of the round part on the back of the female plug where I wanted to mount the female plug (pictured below). Then cut the end off the cable that I ran inside the cab from the wench and connect it to the female plug pictured above, the wires inside the remote cable were the same color as the wires on the female plug, you should use a multimeter to make sure the wires are connected correctly.
Then just plug your other remote cable in as pictured below and enjoy.

You do very high-quality work. I really respect that. I love builds with lots of DIY ingenuity rather than the "money cannon" approach. I'm also fond of old junk, especially if it's of the regular cab variety:

Thanks, I just bought another 1st gen project.
It looks just like my other 2000 model did the day I bought it.
