So to start off this topic, if this forum isn't somewhere else, my truck went through the worse beating possible. We were driving through the woods here and a tree fell smack dab in front of us. Luckily I swerved it and ended up with no amount of damage. Or so I thought. Upon inspection of the truck I found extreme damage to the bumper and the passenger side fog light. I tried my best to bring the truck back to working order by buying a new h11 along with about 1.5 hours of rigorous elbow grease bump/buffing removal. Does anybody have any suggestions as far as fixing or upgrades?

That's about the best it will be. The correct fix is a new bumper skin.

Could always be worse. 7K right here. Light, bumper, door, hood, etc. Lady tried to cross 6 lanes of traffic (didn't work) and I hit her rear quarter panel.

Or totaled, there's been a few of those. Seen them rolled over too.

For what happened to yours though, doesn't look that bad after the fixes.

I keep telling myself the next time something messes up my front end I'll just get an aftermarket bumper.

Got rear-ended and for the cost of the new Toyota bumper and hitch assembly (~$1300), I could have gotten a nice rear plate bumper...

It's hard with all those mold (body) lines and bends and stuff. The best thing he could of did was to fix it right away like he did. Had he of waited a week or several it wouldn't of turned out as good

Thankfully all I had to do was wait a couple of days in the walmart parking lot and then bam! No note either now imagine that crap...
