Time for it?......no no no, he IS the funny picture thread. He is one entity with the thread.

If he retires it would be YEARS before a caliber of meme posting he covers would occur.

I did that once several years ago in my Scion tC, parked it on the street and ran into my house 'cause I had forgotten something. I came back outside 10 seconds later and my car was gone, what the hell, I look down the street and one of the gardeners working on my neighbor's house had stopped it right before it rolled in my neighbor's truck. Fortunately I had left my window down and door unlocked so he was able to jump in and pull the brake.

Ever since then I'm obsessive about checking that I'm in gear and the brake is pulled, lol. Half the time I run back to my car to double check.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
The period changes the whole thing.

    Funny work story....
So I do custom design and drafting for a variety of clients. Some contractors - some just regular folks. I got a call from a contractor friend that wanted me to pop out to a place to meet with some folks that were building a house. This was on an acreage not far from where I live. I had done a few projects for this contractor before - so I was pretty relaxed around him. His clients were usually fairly average, easy-to-along-with type people. And the project was for a large shop to be built on the site. It was a normal meeting - everything was great. Easy banter with everyone involved. Looked like I had the job to design and draw up the shop. And as we were wrapping things up - the contractor asked what I figured my fees would be. Being that things were so light, and the rapport seemed well in place - I responded to the fee question with a joke first. I said, "oh, I'm sure I can keep the fees under a million....without too much trouble." And I smiled as I said that. Thinking I was Mr. Funny man. Everyone sort of giggled a bit - but the joke surely fell somewhat flat. So I quickly followed it up with a more accurate, serious response. To which, everything seemed fine. And they said to go ahead and get started. Awesome....got the project.
So....on the way home - I get a call from the contractor. And we quickly chatted about the project - and figured out a few details. All was good. Then he said to me, "By the way.......you do recognize those clients as the people that recently won the 13 million dollars with the Lottery, right?!" I was just stunned!! No I did not. I had no clue that they were recent Lottery winners. And there I was....making a bold joke...about charging them "under a million" to do their project!!! I nearly died of embarrassment.
Thankfully - no one ever mentioned anything about the joke after that. And I learned a valuable lesson. Never joke about such things......because you never know what the client's situation is. hahahahaha

    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
When you drive past a dead skunk and find yourself sniffing for the scent that you know is just awful

I was on my way to the airport to pick up my BIL.
I took a scenic back route over some rural roads and nailed a skunk. He sprayed all over the exhaust when he died.
My BIL gets in and after a few minutes says "You sure have a lot of skunks around here!"

Several years ago I ran over a dead skunk, not only did that damn thing stink up my truck but I also ended up getting a flat tire, 2 of its ribs went right in between the tread and thru the tire.
