On the boxes it says for 1.5 inches of lift, and the icon aal gives 1.5 inches without the overload.

I am glad we were able to discuss your issue, I feel really bad about your shock blowing. I sent you over the information you will need to approach Fox and if you do not get the situation resolved let me know. The Fox shocks sourced have a 14.70 collapsed and 23.80 extended length so they pair very nicely with the add-a-leaf lift. In comparison the shocks Icon uses for the same aal are a 14.25 collapsed and 24" extended. These shocks are well within the realm for this type of lift so there should be no issue as far as collapsing or extending beyond their capabilities. I also sent a PM with some more information. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with in the meantime!

They are actually 23.35" extended and that is super close to the fox shocks. Definitely a shock malfunction. Awesome support!
