Will the 12v power cord from an ARB fridge fit these?

I just got back from a 10 day trip to montana. I have the fridge set at 34 on eco the entire trip. I did drive for a couple hours each day but I am super impressed with how little power these actually draw. Never once did the battery seem a little low when cranking it over even when it was 25 degrees out. The fridge is one of my favorite mods ive done for sure. Thanks for putting this together!

Currently it just sits in the truck bed. The fridge is tied down to the D ring in the back and one of the sliding tie down mounts. The battery case just sits next to it. Ive been just using it for weekend trips between my truck and Motovan, so the battery does well for those 2-3 days.

Do you know what the battery is suppose to show at Low cutoff? and will the truck start from whatever that is?

Ok. I don't even have Tacoma (have a Tundra). Just registered to say this-

TruckFridge will honor the group buy discounts (25% off) through end of month (May 2016).

I came to know this great price from this forum and emailed Truck Fridge to see if they will match. They said yes through end of month. They also said ok to post and have people order directly.

Direct Customer care number for ordering-
    5028630373

If line is busy, keep trying or try later.

The other main reason I registered is to say Thanks OP.

Based on my experience and reading through the thread you must have accomplished lot of good karma points. Don't be surprised if random people open door for you or hand over their house keys to you.

    Moderators-
I don't want people to miss out as this is peak outdoor season. The thread is marked as closed. Kindly edit/move/re purpose as appropriate.

If you are member of expo and other great forums, please share. You will share faster than me.

    Thanks.

@omaguz I have a four wheel pop up camper in the bed of the (2003) tundra. So it's inside the camper use often. That being said, no easy answers. I recently removed the Norcold 12v fridge as it was very hard for our style. Portable will be easy to load/cool at house before trip and can be moved. I have ordered base plate just in case.
Removing 12v Norcold fridge gave ton of much needed storage. Have to play with Indel for what works in fit. I'm not DIY guy, so once I find out what works, will look to get some professional help to modify sofa height etc. Can kill more problems like getting hidden storage etc. with one solution.

Thanks @ToyoCamp. I'm still waiting for the mounting bracket to arrive (It is at my freight forwader warehouse in Miami). My plan is to find a write up on how to constantly power the cig lighter receptacle in the back of the center console, and mount the installation plate in the floor of the single back seat. Once in the upright position the fridge fits perfect in that space. I don't understand why Toyota didn't place a 12 volt receptacle on the Tundras like they do in the Tacomas bed. Well, shit happens!!! Post pics of your camper when you can!!! Thanks buddy!!!

I thought about getting the 41l to save that little space but am glad that i got the 51l. That space goes away quickly, and if i want to carry beverages for a longer trip as well, I'll put them in a separate cooler.

And you can always hinge the lid on the side like i and others did. Pics are somewhere in the thread.

@ToyoCamp Thanks for the kind words and appreciation- really means a lot to me. I'll re-open this thread temporarily and have the front page edited for the additional discount.

I have the TF51. It's a tight fit in the 5th gen but it does open up completely while inside of the cabin. I would very much recommend doing the hinge flip mod like @aero3685 did to give it some additional space. One thing to note that it is very difficult to open up the fridge from the back seat in the regular lid configuration, but by modding the lid it makes it 1000x easier. I used a Wagon Gear hinge kit on mine.

I would say go with a 41. I have the 51 and its bigger than i thought it would be. I just did a 10 trip to montana with the gf. We would get about 3 or 4 days worth of food at a time and had lots of extra room even with a gallon of juice and a gallon of milk.

Ya thats exactly what i did. Take a cold one out put a warm one in. The best part about the fridge is no more soggy food. I always hated finding the cheese swimming in 6" of water...

No doubt. The fridge is on of my favorite mods so far. Screw the 3 grand in air lockers. Keep beer cold=WIN!
