Just finished up my week in the Lolo area. Couldn't get to the actual Lolo trail, but did hit roads 107, 566, 5620, 5621, and maybe a couple of others that may have been numbered differently. It was a great trip but very lonely doing it solo. I was there when the forest service unlocked 566 and was the first one in for the season. Not too many trees to remove or get around.

If y'all ever organize a Lolo trail trip for any TW members, I'd sure do it if I could get off work. I plan to go back to that area sometime for a late summer early fall trip.

Will do a post on the trip when I get home. I still have the Devils Tower and Badlands to see before getting home.

I just stumbled on this... WOW!

Your narration was perfect! Do you write for a living?

Adventure writing would be a nice sideline for you!

Oops I was totally thinking of Ben being stuck in the snow in Idaho somewhere. Wrong story I guess. My bad. I do remember this one after going back a little. So no no, no rehash.
