    New truck....so nothing yet
Since it has been so long, it doesn't bode well for a good outcome.

Death of missing Garberville man ruled an apparent suicide

Human remains found in Trinity County last week were identified as a missing Garberville man on Wednesday and his death appears to be a suicide.

Sam Dunlea Cushman, 36, was reported missing May 3 and was classified as “at risk,” according to the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office. The Trinity County Sheriff's Office determined that Cushman died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound. He was identified through his dental records.
A citizen hunting on private property reported finding a 1998 green camouflage Toyota Tacoma truck approximately two miles south of Island Mountain in Trinity County on Oct. 24. The truck belonged to Cushman, according to the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office.
Cushman dropped off his child at his former girlfriend's home on April 28 and then disappeared. After he did not return phone calls and e-mails, his former girlfriend notified police.
