talked with salesmen today at Toyota of Puyallup and there was not anymore 2016 Pros allocated for them. Said I needed to get in line and put 500 dollar check down for the order. Is this standard process for the tundra? Any advice? This is my first new car purchase

So are you buying a tundra TRD pro? Did you get any pricing or did they set any expectations? The problem with a limited quantity vehicle is that they are usually only allocated a few throughout the year and they usually will not negotiate on price. Most dealers would sell pro models for msrp or higher.

Well I'm really thinking hard about it and want to. I didn't get any pricing yet I was going to firm them up when i gave the check to them. I still haven't gave the check. Just went in to inquire and get a feeling for the dealership

Yes deposits are pretty standard on orders.
