I just got a 2013 Prerunner and I need ideas for mods that I need to get. It is 100% stock right now, no big tires or anything. Any ideas would be nice! Throw them at me! Thanks

Welcome to TW. How is it a PreRunner and 4WD? All PreRunners are all 2WDs. It actually looks like a base model based on the bumper. Hopefully you didn't pay the TRD price.

Nice truck. If thst is in fact a 4x4 I'd say some new wheels first. There are plenty of pull off 16 and 17" alloy wheels from the upper trim levels (TRD etc) going for 150-200 on Craigslist. Maybe some larger tires too based on your intended use.

The Tacoma rubber bed may is excellent as well.

Yeah I just found out it's not a 4X4, I thought the 4 on it meant 4 wheel drive. It's my first truck

Just saw your other thread about the body lift, wrote a lot a words about how little I know, but on your question here about mods, I'm quite strongly opinionated!

And that is that you should drive it for a while, get used to it, and find out what you like doing with it, especially since it's your first truck.

By using it, you'll figure out what annoys you, and what you want to change. Heck, besides a toolbox and scratches, I haven't done much to mine but drive all over!

But I've camped out of it from the southern California coast, up to Maine, and down to the Florida Keys. (and the Texas beaches, of course!)

Go use it however you feel so moved to, and ideas will come to mind!

Do'oh! 4x2 is commonly used to designate two wheel drive, 4x4, four wheel drive.

Of course my favorite vehicles are only one wheel drive, but I've never heard of motorcycles described as 2x1, so there goes consistency of terms. :p

Ask away, I love to avoid being productive.
