Just called my dlr. told them about this issue and have her reference code. Set up an appt for tomorrow to lube the u joints and tranny fluid level. I asked if she will look into the reference number with her service mgr and give me a call back today with an update. I don't see what the issue is of them just doing it but we shall see what she has to say. Fingers crossed

Got the call back. They will lube the u joints and when it comes to the tranny fluid they say theirs is no dipstick and the projects to check the fluid is a lengthy one requiring the truck to be a certain temp and they after need to hook it up to the computer

even worse they sent him away like that. if they actually did have that issue,
it should have never left the shop. they just don't give a shit anymore it seems.

I am here at the dealership
    1. 5k service is no oil change. Just tire rotation and inspection.
    2. Asked to have u-joints lubed. Dealership said ok.
    3. Asked to have trany fluid checked. Dealership said , not possible because it is a "sealed system."

Ask them what the "check" plug is at the bottom of the transmission.

... ^^^ ... Check your oil dipstick before you start your truck to make sure it has oil in it at proper level.

I always keep paper towels in my truck for this purpose and I double check everything on my truck after a dealer visit.

And ... I always point out that there is NO damage on vehicle and ask them to note any damages they see on inside or outside .. before any service driver takes it.

Double check EVERYTHING and you will never be disappointed at a dealership ... because you can address any problems on the spot.
