At the dealership they inserted a micro-SD card with the road maps of the USA, but I'm taking my Tacoma down to Baja and need road maps for Mexico. Any idea how/where I can get a new chip? Is it available online? Can I just download it to another micro-SD card and pop it in?

Tijuana is covered at least. I played around with my navi and zoomed down to the area. I was surprised they had coverage for it.

My 2015 had all of North America when I explored the maps if I remember right?

I hope you speak Spanish because once you upload that map the language changes also.

Was looking a my navi the other day. when you search destinations, you can change the country. It has all the Mexican states. And it will remain in English. I would still be careful. I don't know how well those maps are up to date. And you know down there, they always have construction and have detours and one way streets all the time.

Dude I drove down and spent a week fishing in Loreto in April. The Nav system had most of the major towns / roads we needed. Highway 1 is in great condition, so between that and the Nav having most major towns I wouldn't worry about upgrading unless you want some particular off-road trails.
