Just out of curiosity how do the KO2's wear? Can't decide whether to pull the trigger on those or the duratracs, probably will go with whichever have longer wear.

I've been considering either the Duratrac or KO2s as well but in 265/75R16. I know the Duratrac have a 50k warranty. Anyone getting close to 50k with KO2s?

Run Duratrac's over the BFG KO2's. Better tire all around. Mild hum at 45-50 but nothing annoying. The Duratrac's roll better in my opinion.

I'll explain the difference between Bfg and dtracs like it was explained to me on this forum.

If you wheel or spend any time among roots or rocks buy bfgs or just buy 6 duratracs you'll need the spares

I've got a 2.7L with these exact tires (BFG K02 265 70 R 17) and it does affect the performance of the car, more notably at low rpms. Once you're above 2 grand, it will still pull like it did before I switched the tires. I don't think these tires are large enough to justify the cost of re-gearing, but that is personal preference, I tend to drive on the slower side anyway.

In terms of wear, got these at America's tire, went back to have them switched (front and rear) after about 6000 miles and the technician said that they barely even looked used. I do go off roading, maybe not as much as others, but I definitely have put them through their paces in the dirt and have been happy with my purchase.

aloha all! new to forum. love reading all your discussions.
question..... i have a stock '17 trd sport 2wd. came with 265/65/17 tires.
for strictly aesthetic purposes i was thinking of upgrading to bfg ko2 265/70.17.
can i make this tire change without making any other type of lift modifications and not have problems with rubbing, etc.
any info you can share would be greatly appreciated.

sorry ....to add to this....what about replacing the 265/65/17 with the
ko2 275/65r17? i realize height is same but looks like its a wider tire?
