While the wife ran to the store with the two little ones, I tried to install my Pro grille. Tried being the key word.

DAMN that stock inset and clips are a bitch to come off. I messed with it and messed with it some more and couldn't get it off. So, in fear of the wife catching me red handed, I "gave up" early and put the stock grille back. Have to look up how to get that stock insert off, so it goes easier and quicker next time I attempt it.

 

Just use a small flat head screw driver to get the tabs out of the inserts, just bend them a little. Not that hard, just be patient lol

 

Gotcha. Will give it a shot. They seemed hard as hell to bend.

 

Yeah it is... It sucked when I did raptor lights to my grill... Started from one side & worked my way across. Patience is a virtue when it comes to taking grill off! Took me same amount of time to get grill off as it did to put raptor lights, wire them & put new grill on! Lol
