Can anyone here weld aluminum? reason I ask is because I would like to get a new center console boat. finding one without a t-top is nearly impossible. So I was figuring on cutting the t-top in half and welding hinges on the tubes facing the bow and clamping do hickies on the stern tubes to clamp it down. Trying to get this bad boy in the garage. the top would function like the fishmaster folding t-top. anyway any help would greatly be appreciated.

 

Maybe @allenfab but not sure if he does aluminum

 

I know a lot of the t tops come stainless too, either way it sounds like a good plan. You can also get under low bridges with it hinged.

 

And I would like your old boat

 

I don't have the resources to weld aluminum outside of work. We really don't even weld it at work either, maybe one job a year but I am never put on it so my aluminum skills are probably sub-par now lol

 

Any update on the head unit?

 

Called a local dealer at like 7 they closed service at 6 they said they would call me back the next day they never did. But it seems turning the Bluetooth on and off and back to on fixed it so as of right now it works completely normal

I recall a good shop or two over in Titusville that can do that job. Can't remember the names of the shops though. I know, whole lot of help.

Hahaha already sold buddy. Your not the only one to ask though. I had a guy knock on my door the other day wanting to buy it. Had to tell him I already sold. Gonna sell it to my neighbor. He's a good dude and will take care of her.
