Haha, nah they are just shit from the factory. I've only wheeled a few times, but I can hit a speed bump at 5 over speed limit like no one's business.

 

Cool I got the ES radiator bushings, seeing this I'm getting the body kit too

 

I would highly recommend the body kit, it takes time, but as you can see with my very well kept 2015, the bushings are just pure crap.

Unplug ABS Sensor and disconnect bracket






Perfect channel and fit with the bushings from the full kit

I personally am not going to run the bushings recommended in this thread anymore. (9.4101s) They do not have the same channel insert and the cores are thinner than the one's provided in the full body mount kit. On the left are the 9 series and on the right are the ones with the full body mount kit.

I switched mine out from the ones included in the full mount kit and ran them in the 9.4101's for added peace of mind when I installed them.

I'm sending the radiator support bushings from my full body kit to a member for free (already have a recipient). I figure it's a good way to 1) help someone who may not do this mod otherwise, 2) get rid of the bushings from my collection of parts, 3) keep the good karma flowing. It's the easiest part to do and probably the most vital. SAVE THE TACOS!!

 

Just changed mine out with the bushings from the

$34 9.4101G UNIVERSAL MOUNT

9.4101G kit. With 195k on the old ones they were way past due on being changed. Was pretty easy, only took about 30 minutes. Thanks for the heads up on this OP.

 

Having a substantial amount of time to kill this Sunday afternoon, I decided to read through all 46 pages of this thread in hopes of gaining some clarity (HAH!). Instead, all I gave myself was a terrible headache and the belief that as a renowned performance bushing company, Energy suspension MUST have put some thought into this when they designed their kit for our truck's application... I mean, that's not always the case (just look at what Toyota came up with originally lol), but as an aftermarket component I'm feeling like I can trust them when using the SUPPLIED bushings that come with the

$110 8.4109G Body Mount Set-Reg, Access & Dbl Cab

8.4109G kit. As you'll find further down in this post, you can probably get away with running either kit. It's a matter of choice. But since I have have both kits, I decided to take some comparison shots for anyone who's curious...

The only real note worthy differences are:
- Overall diameter (one will have more surface area contacting than the other).
- Density. 8.4109G is softer (same as the rest of the kit) while

$34 9.4101G UNIVERSAL MOUNT

9.4101G is very firm.
- Lower bushings. 8.4109G is thicker and has a bevel (assuming it has a purpose).

Conclusion
When choosing whether to use to the 8.4109G rad support or the 9.4101G with the thick one on top, know that the thickness difference is negligible. You could use either one based on that principle. Just think, if the 8.4109G kit is the APPLICATION SPECIFIC thickness, than running the 9.4101G thick puck with the same thickness wouldn't hurt anything. If you like the idea of having more surface area contacting the rad support, run the 9.4101G! However, looking at yotastacos photos, it doesn't look like it sits in the recessed frame pocket like the 8.4109G does.

TLDR; Buy the 9.4101G if you don't want to spend the $100+ on the full cab kit. Having the poly up front is better than rubber at least! But, I wouldn't put the thin one on top, because it's undersized significantly in thickness compared to the application specific 8.4109G. And if you want to replace all your cab mounts at the same time because they're popping like crazy, spend the extra dough on the complete 8.4109G package.

Now that I've stirred the pot even more...

Yep, just fine. Riding well and the overall fit was much better during install.
