Hey guys, my name is Erik. Got an 03 Double Cab Prerunner TRD back in February as a first car and absolutely love it. I've done some minor modifications and plan on doing many more, and will share them on TacomaWorld.

If anyone has some simple first mod or upgrade recommendations they are greatly appreciated! (Money is tight BTW)

    Welcome!

Run as far away from this website as you possibly can, lol

Honestly, it all depends on what you want to do with your truck. Do you want to offroad? With a 2wd truck you will be limited but you do have the TRD package (rear diff locker) which gives you a big advantage over non TRD Prerunners. In that case, I'd recommend maybe a small lift, better tires, stronger suspension...

If offroading isn't a priority I'd just focus on keeping it stock and well maintained. Toyota did a great job with the Tacoma starting with the first generation in making it a very capable vehicle right off the line.

    Welcome to TW!
